A Shaadi Movie trailer: Tanu Weds Manu
Another shaadi movie starring R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut. I’m tempted to watch this one after seeing this cute trailer.
Perfect Mismatched Couple…a little like my fiancee and I. ;)

I realize that Navratri has passed, but often times, Gujarati couples decide to include garba/raas in their pre-wedding celebrations! It’s auspicious and a fun event for your guests.
My aunt will be sending the decorative wooden dandiyas for our guests via parcel, but I wanted to either buy or make designer dandiya sets for myself and my fiancee for our Wedding Garba Raas. A trip to Michael’s will definitely get the creative juices flowing.
Here’s a guide for making your own designer dandiyas. I’ve made them in the past and it’s a pretty straight forward process. All you really need is fabric or ribbon, sequence, and tiny bells of your choice to add an authentic look! Also, don’t forget the hot glue gun!
Mani <3 Asad by Marigolds and Mithai
A South Asian wedding shot by an iPhone. I’m extremely impressed with the video quality and editing skills. Great job!
Vintage Wedding Video Shot from an iPhone4
I apologize for my numerous video posts, but since I was on the topic of iPhone/webcam technology with @jigarchamp on Twitter, I wanted to post this video footage shot entirely on an iPhone4. For those of you who were not planning on hiring a professional videographer, here’s another great option to capture footage from all of your events. Capturing special moments/footage via iPhones seems to be growing in popularity. Personally, I think it’s a wonderful idea…especially if you have a willing cousin or family member who wants to capture moments that your photographer/videographer may have not been able to.
See the next video link for a South Asian, more specifically, Pakistani wedding events shot via an iPhone by the brother of the ladies at Marigolds and Mithai.
Since there are a few brides that will be having their engagement sessions soon, I thought I would share this link with excellent advice on how to prepare.
What I gathered from it all:
Be comfortable. Be yourself. The pictures will turn out amazing!
The Unconventional Indian Wedding Video
Check out this rather unconventional Indian wedding footage. It’s different, but very refreshing to see wedding highlights in this manner.
